Homeless Ministry

Offering a helping hand to the homeless in our area

Meaningful service

To make a meaningful difference for unhoused people, we must understand and meet their unique needs.

Ministry volunteers meet with homeless people and listen closely to what they need. The church is constantly collecting supplies, focusing on essentials like ready-to-eat food, toiletries, and warm clothing.

A group of people of various ages stand and kneel outdoors in front of a white van. The sky is overcast. Some individuals are smiling while others appear neutral. The background features industrial structures and a sign on a pole.
A group of four people is standing closely together outdoors. One person is wearing a cap and looking down. Another is speaking and gesturing with one hand. A third person with a bald head and a beard looks on. A woman in a pink hat is partially visible.

Prayer and hope

As we work to ease the physical discomforts of the local homeless, we minister to their spiritual needs, too. We pray with people and give them the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Make a difference to those who need it most

God calls us to care about the homeless and to show it in words and in deeds. Here’s how we help:

The Maker of us all

Proverbs 22:2 reminds us that “the rich and the poor have this in common: the Lord is the maker of them all.” When you serve the homeless, you care for God’s children.
